Where I've been...

Well, school started for me in August and has been consuming my entire life. I have been in school for almost a month now. Crazy how fast the time has gone, but feels like it hasn't. Since starting school a few years ago I haven't ever taken this large of a class load. It is only 12 credits, but feels like 18 or more with the amount of time I am there and the amount of work required. I ended up NOT quitting my job and sometimes wonder if I made the right decision. I am only working on Mondays since I am in class every other day. I was also elected President of our class and that will end up taking some of my time as well.I have made some great friends so far and can't wait to get to know even more of them. There is a total of 24 in our class and every single one of them are wonderful women.
This weekend I attended the Utah Dental Hygiene Association (UDHA) convention and got to mingle with the girls even more. I stayed the night in a condo with two other girls on Friday and a lot of fun was had. After the convention on Friday night we hit the outlets and shopped until they closed at 9:00 then decided we should go to dinner. After dinner we went to the grocery store for water, junk and oatmeal for breakfast. We were laughing so hard we were crying at times in the store. I'm sure people wondered what we were on. When we got back to the condo we chatted and around 2:00 Trish and I decided it was finally time for bed. We had to go to the convention again in the afternoon.Cameron got glasses earlier this month too. I think he looks very cute! His prescription is just a bit stronger than mine which isn't very strong at all.Hockey season starts tomorrow. Cameron is on the same team as one of his former classmates so he is happy. His team is the Penguins...which is the favorite NHL team in our house, who by the way, won the Stanley Cup this past season!

The pictures from my camera sure look grainy on here, but if you click on them they should look better.

Well, I better get studying. Work tomorrow will come too soon and I won't have much time to study. That's what's been going on in my world lately. Hopefully it won't take me this long next time to update.

Good for you! Are you studying to be a dentist or hygienist? Looks like you had fun at the convention. If you weren't all in scrubs, I would think you were hanging out with a bunch of scrapbookers, lol.
Take care with your new work load and all the extra responsibility you have now!

Your son looks pretty cute with his new glasses!

Kris...I'm in school to be a hygienist. I'd love to be a dentist, but by the time I would get out of school I will be too old! I don't want to work forever!
