We just got back from Seattle and couldn't find my cat Patches. My sweet friend of 14 years has passed on. She will be missed very much. I hate that I wasn't here for her.

I'm so sorry. I know this is hard. Knowing she had you for 14 years tells me she had a very long well loved life. I'll keep you and Patches in my prayers.

We never learn as we love them and it hurts when anything happens and we say "Never again" but we remember our furry friends and often let another one in...
