I finally have a minute to jot some happenings down. I can't believe it's been 4 months since I posted anything on here. School and home life have had me busy! Luckily I have a week to breathe since I am currently on SPRING BREAK!
Here's what's been going on:
DECEMBER
- Finished first semester of hygiene school (celebrated with Lunch @ Chili's)
- Went to Seattle to celebrate Grandma Buss' 90th birthday
- Caught a hockey game with Dad & Dana
JANUARY
- Was craving some Ivars while in Seattle and finally had it at the airport on the way home.
- Finally finished the Valentine's table runner I started two years ago.
- Volunteered with Cameron for the victims of the Haiti earthquake.
- Started my second semester of hygiene school.
- Found an arsenal behind my couch.
- My Christmas gift from Michael arrived! Can I tell you how much I love this thing? I have read so many more books this semester (not counting text books) since this arrived. I don't know why, maybe it's because I can toss it in my purse and read when I have a few minutes.
- Cameron got a principals pride award for a science assignment.
- Made a quilt for Quilts for Kids
- New garage door opener that Cameron helped install (maybe my brother can give him a job!)
- Cameron spent his gift certificate at Sports Authority that he got from an uncle for Christmas.
FEBRUARY
- Tried In-N-Out burger for the first time (wasn't impressed at all).
- Had two of my favorite things together in one bite....YUM!
- Taught dental health to Cameron's class.
- Made Cameron a quilt. It still needs to be taken in to have the quilting done to it.
- Found that it's hard to figure out what keyboard your supposed to be using when you have two computers right next to each other. This happens WAY to often.
So, this turned into a pictorial. Fun! I'm sure it will be awhile longer before I come back up for some air. Spring break for me won't be much a vacation. I have a power point to put together, some papers to write and two exams to study for. I can't wait for school to end!!!

Where I've been...
Well, school started for me in August and has been consuming my entire life. I have been in school for almost a month now. Crazy how fast the time has gone, but feels like it hasn't. Since starting school a few years ago I haven't ever taken this large of a class load. It is only 12 credits, but feels like 18 or more with the amount of time I am there and the amount of work required. I ended up NOT quitting my job and sometimes wonder if I made the right decision. I am only working on Mondays since I am in class every other day. I was also elected President of our class and that will end up taking some of my time as well.I have made some great friends so far and can't wait to get to know even more of them. There is a total of 24 in our class and every single one of them are wonderful women.
This weekend I attended the Utah Dental Hygiene Association (UDHA) convention and got to mingle with the girls even more. I stayed the night in a condo with two other girls on Friday and a lot of fun was had. After the convention on Friday night we hit the outlets and shopped until they closed at 9:00 then decided we should go to dinner. After dinner we went to the grocery store for water, junk and oatmeal for breakfast. We were laughing so hard we were crying at times in the store. I'm sure people wondered what we were on. When we got back to the condo we chatted and around 2:00 Trish and I decided it was finally time for bed. We had to go to the convention again in the afternoon.Cameron got glasses earlier this month too. I think he looks very cute! His prescription is just a bit stronger than mine which isn't very strong at all.Hockey season starts tomorrow. Cameron is on the same team as one of his former classmates so he is happy. His team is the Penguins...which is the favorite NHL team in our house, who by the way, won the Stanley Cup this past season!
The pictures from my camera sure look grainy on here, but if you click on them they should look better.
Well, I better get studying. Work tomorrow will come too soon and I won't have much time to study. That's what's been going on in my world lately. Hopefully it won't take me this long next time to update.

Just some new pages
I've been working on some pages. I will add credits later.
I just realized that I put different years on the next two layouts. They were taken the same day. Gotta fix that one!

Long time
So, it's been over a month since I have updated or posted anything at all. I am sorry! I hate when I go to blogs that haven't been updated...come on people I want to know what's been going on in your lives. Well, I am one of them.
I had my school orientation at the beginning of the month. I am so excited to finally start my classes and be on my final destination of being a dental hygienist. Classes start on August 26th and can't come soon enough. Here is a list of my classes this semester....I've never taken more than 2 at a time (well, I guess I took 3 once, but one was online and EASY):
Intro to Hygiene (Theory)
Head & Neck Anatomy
Dental Anatomy
Dental Radiology w/lab
Embryology/Histology
I am a bit lucky in that we are starting out the year slowly with only having classes M-Th. I was worried that I was going to be there M-F from 8-5. This semester I only start at 8:00 one day and I will be able to get Cameron off to school on the other days. I was pretty worried about him having to get himself off to school.
Yesterday I got together with Shannon to do a little scrapbooking. I did two digital pages while I was there and then later in the evening I made a little avatar of myself for a message board I am on.I hope to get more pages done today, but I need to head to a bakery for some eclairs, clean house then go to a Bastille Day party tonight (thus the need for eclairs).
I haven't posted a book list in awhile. Here's what I have read so far this year.
Secrets of a Shoe Addict - Beth Harbison
Shoe Addicts Anonymous - Beth Harbison
Dead Until Dark - Book 1 - Charlaine Harris
Living Dead in Dallas - Book 2 - Charlaine Harris
Club Dead - Book 3 - Charlaine Harris
Dead To The World - Book 4 - Charlaine Harris
Deal Breaker (Myron Bolitar Mysteries #1) - Harlan Coben
Drop Shot (Myron Bolitar Mysteries #2) - Harlan Coben
7th Heaven - James Patterson & Maxine Paetro
Plum Spooky - Janet Evanovich
Pretty in Plaid - Jen Lancaster
Handle With Care - Jodi Picoult
They Did It With Love - Kate Morgenroth
Chasing Harry Winston - Lauren Weisberger
Pagan Stone (Sign of the Seven Trilogy, Book 3) - Nora Roberts
8th Confession - James Patterson
Mommy By Mistake - Rowan Coleman
The Shack - William P. Young
The Spellman Files - Lisa Lutz
Cameron starts 4th grade on July 27th. Where does the time go? I can't believe he is going to be in 4th already. He is a bit bummed that he didn't get the track (year-round school has different tracks for all the kids) he wanted, but he will be in the same class as a few of his friends. We kept him pretty busy this summer with hockey camp twice a week. He improved a great deal over the 6 weeks. I can't wait to see him play on a team again later this year.
Michael had a bit of a scare a few weeks back with a partially obstructed bowel. We thought he was going to need surgery, but the doctor had him go on a clear liquid diet for a week and the obstruction cleared itself up. We are thankful that he didn't have to undergo abdominal surgery as this is something can reoccur from that surgery.
As I type Michael is up in Alaska salmon fishing with his dad. Fun times! He has hopes of bringing home 50 pounds of fish. Eeewww! I am not a big fish fan. Cameron and Michael will be enjoying the salmon though.
I hope I don't let this blog go for so long until my next post, but until then....have a great day!

Really?
I can't believe it's been over a month since I updated the blog. I haven't done too much during that time either.
My grandfather passed away Memorial weekend and I went home for a few days with Cameron to hang out with family and friends.
Cameron is officially out of school as of yesterday. He will start 4th grade on July 27th. He is currently in a hockey camp so he doesn't forget how to do stuff. He is always very sweaty when he is done with the camp for the day. Cameron was in a cute play at school and played a pirate. He does such a good job with talking in front of a crowd and singing. He was also in the choir again this year and enjoys that too.
Michael is on an adult hockey team that plays on Thursdays. He is loving it too. Their team was undefeated until this past week when they lost to a high school team.
I'm not doing too much this summer. Just working and hanging around the house until I start school full-time in August. I can't wait! I just hope the two years goes by quickly.
I'm hoping to get some digi scrappin' done this weekend. We'll see if I succeed.

Disney pages and some misc. ones too.
I have been working on some pages lately. Most of these layouts are done using templates so I can finish quicker.
My plan is to have a Disney book made. Some of the text looks blurry, but it doesn't when blown up.Here are a few other layouts that I have been working on....
